I cannot express enough how much I love the suitcase armor. I'm not even bitter that it never showed up again, I'm just happy we got it in the first place. It was one of the very first instances of the Marvel Cinematic Universe adapting "that goofy thing that no movie would ever try to include except as a joke", and it worked out FANTASTICALLY.
Wow, hope this doesn't sound like nitpicking but... how does the suitcase armor not make a lick of sense? Or was it a reference to something else and I totally misread the author comment? XD
Not nitpicking at all, if anything my position's the nitpicky one. It's one of those "an invisible man should be blind because the light necessary to see will just pass through his eyes" situations, even if the idea of an Iron Man suit folding into a suitcase could happen with creative enough engineering, it should be too heavy to pick up like a suitcase. Especially not with one hand.
25 lbs. with one hand isn't that much of a dealbreaker, is it? ;)
Yeah, realistically, such a suit should weigh far more and not be functional at all, but Hollywood magic. ;) Though, given the exotic material and tech that already exists, it might be that light relative to the realism of the setting. Or the third option, which doesn't remotely match canon... I like to treat most of the advanced technology presented in superhero settings as a kind of "super power" itself. Reality adjusting to stuff that maybe shouldn't be there yet. The relatively slow, realistic method of invention giving "reality" time to adjust to the new normal, but "gadgeteers" like Tony, mad scientists, time travelers, etc. bring stuff back before reality is ready... and before the technology and the principles behind it can be understood by those of us in the real world. XD
the link is a little wonky, when i check i noticed a "." between "youtu" and "be", otherwise it is a link to
"caramella girls - Caramelldansen Swedish Original", hope it helps if it gets taken down if somebody watches this coments 2-3 years from now.
also sorry for any bad english
Thank you so much for pointing that out! I hadn't even realized it wasn't working. Guess I must have copied the address incorrectly, it should hopefully be fixed now.
