So, full disclosure, I think I'm technically cheating the timeline by having Rob play this mashup. As far as I can tell, it didn't exist until 2011, a year after the Iron Man 2 campaign is set. Buuuuuuuut both of its component songs existed before 2010, soooooooo... I dunno. As far as I'm concerned, it's an acceptable cheat.
Anyways! By Rob's reckoning, War Machine was the big threat. With him out of the way, everything else should be a cakewalk. We'll see how right he was.
Really most of what Rob cares about when it comes to music is "does it bop?", and I think in this case that's a definite yes, lyrical content be damned.
As for Don... yeah. In his defense it's entirely possible to enjoy music with problematic elements for reasons unrelated to those elements. Unless you meant DMX in general, in which case... also, yeah. Not my cup of tea personally, but to each their own.
