Mmm... yes, that beautiful RPG goodness! I didn't start playing until late middle school or early high school, but as we were entering college (and eventually had to quit the group), we were getting tantalizingly close to this.
Close to cooperative scheming, or players being willing to mess up their own character's plans because they think it'll be a better story? Or some other aspect I've overlooked entirely?
Do you remember

when mighty Thor questioned how Heimdall with his all-seeing-eye couldn't notice infiltrating Jotuns, but was ignored? Looks like it was important. Did you think Thor was dumb? WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?
On completely unrelated note, Loki's plan was only going to succeed if Thor was dumb. That's not a very good plan.
I love Kris's confusion about Liam wanting Loki's plan to suffer problems and for Thor to keep going.
Shows that he still has yet to understand that the rest of the group isn't "playing to win" the way he has been.
I'm guessin figuring that out and focusing more on the story will be his path to becoming worthy of the hammer.
