One thing I've always loved about Pathfinder 1e that was never in D&D, was crafting. There are no real rules for it in DnD 5e, but I love that you can make magic items you need if you got the resources + skill, and even otherwise you can buy magic items. You can't really do that in 5e without heavy homebrew. It adds a layer of customization that I like for characters.
It's also really helpful for when, say, you want to play a Merfolk Dirge Bard but you don't have access to Fins to Feet to fix your abysmal movement speed. So instead you can make a Shimmering Kilt despite not knowing the spell and it just increases the DC to craft it.
Actually, no, that was just a Pathfinder character concept I really felt like running and had to heavily water down/homebrew when everyone decided to switch to 5E.
I'm having enough of a time figuring out the barebones of how I want Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk to work, I have zero space in the back of my brain for Namor and his nonsense right now. XD
She-Hulk would be fun. The first Timely game (Iron Man) was supposed to be a game of corporate executives, so this game the PC came in with a Lawyer character but because of a bad random table roll, she ended up badly injured with super powers. She's trying to play her lawyer game, but keeps getting superhero stuff happening.
Ms Marvel offers the interesting PC concept-someone whose a fan of a different PC. Maybe Captain Marvel's story is something of a legend, or maybe it was a streamed Actual Play, and Ms Marvel the PC is a fan of said game.
