Remember in DM of the Ring a moment, when Legolas described his plan to climb on the elephant and shoot down all warriors on his back, finally finishing off the elephant himself with a headshot, all while the images show exactly that moment form the film? And all party telling him how stupid this plan was and that he should hack the elephant's legs like everyone else?
If you don't remember, clearly you didn't read the comic that started everything. Fix that.
