Aye, it's like most of the songs the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Outros use. They're all western songs the author (Hirohiko Araki) was listening to back when he was writing that particular part of the manga. I think they're also supposed to reflect something about that particular Season's/Part's story.
Season 1, which covers Parts 1 (Phantom Blood) and 2 (Battle Tendency) of the manga both use the song Roundabout by Yes. I think they use different verses, though. Or maybe its original versus remaster? The link I provided is for the remaster, FYI.
Season 2 covers all of Part 3 (Stardust Crusaders), but the anime split it into two halves, so the first half is called just "Stardust Crusaders" (like the manga) and has Walk Like An Egyptian by The Bangles, while the second half is called "Stardust Crusaders: Battle In Egypt" and uses "The Last Train Home" by The Pat Metheny Group.Which is why I'm even bringing this up. It might sound like former would better suit the latter, but Stardust Crusaders is about reaching Egypt, while The Last Train Home makes absolute sense if you watch all the way through to the end of Stardust Crusaders: Battle In Egypt. I'm not crying you're crying!
Oh, and there are two episodes that have an original, made-for-that-episode ending theme song with a bizarre art style. They make little sense outside of context, and that's me assuming context helps it make sense to fluent Japanese speakers. Just a warning because so many non-Jojo readers/watchers think they've been trolled when shown them. XD
Season 3 covers all of Part 4 (Diamond Is Unbreakable) and uses the song I Want You by Savage Garden. Not sure if this one was supposed to have any deeper meaning, but I loved this song (and the rest of Savage Garden's debut album) when I was in high school, so this is one of my favorites. XD
Season 4 covers Part 5 (Golden Wind) has three endings. The first and second use the song Freek'n You by Jodeci, with significantly different visuals. "Significantly"? It isn't uncommon for the visuals of the intros and outros to change according to revelations within that season. In this case, they're just completely different visuals. The third ending is Modern Crusaders by Enigma.
Season 5 covers Part 6 (Stone Ocean), and is the most recent season of the animation. The ending uses Distant Dreamer by Duffy. I think that's the only ending song this season, but I haven't actually finished watching since I don't have Netflix anymore. XP
You thought this was going to be a GURPS tangent, but it was I, DIO! JJBA!
Each time you put a music down it only makes me think what music would I use for this scene.
But this time I know just the melody, but I can't remember who wrote it or what does it called.
That happens to me all the time, usually when I have the radio on. I'll hear a song, think "oh that's neat, I should look that one up" and then forget any way to identify it. Last time it happened five minutes after I heard it. XD
