The Incredible Hulk, it must be admitted, does not have the best lead-in to its plot. It's always been weird to me that someone as cautious as Banner wouldn't have taken a closer look at all bottles in the vicinity, assuming everyone else at the plant was negligent enough that they wouldn't notice.

But hey, now I have characters in a comic to make fun of the implausibility of it all for me. And as their conversation demonstrates, sometimes you need to suspend your disbelief to get anything started.

It also helps to remember implausible isn't the same as impossible. I'll be watching this film for the first time this weekend, and it does sound contrived... but I'm a long time TCG player. Especially with the advent of so many official, online TCGs, seems like someone new is always convinced someone is cheating or the game is bugged when a low probability occurrence happens.

You know, like flipping a certain amont of heads or tails in a row. The odds of something may be one in 1024 each time, but those circumstances occur dozens, hundreds, even thousands of time each day.

Definitely a good point. And I hope you enjoy the Incredible Hulk! I'm not super-fond of it personally, it's actually one of my least favorite MCU movies... but the upside of the MCU so far is that even my least favorites are still decent movies. So "rewatching" Incredible Hulk however many times as needed to get screencaps is way less painful than, say, "rewatching" Batman v Superman for the same reason would be. XD
